Supporting asylum seekers

Today in the Senate, the Government and the ALP denied Sarah, on behalf of the Greens, the chance to move a motion calling on the Government to issue a moratorium on the return of any asylum seekers back to Iraq to offer a reprieve to those detained in immigration detention on Manus Island, Nauru and Christmas Island, allowing them to apply for protection in Australia.
