Ageing

All Australians should be entitled to high quality aged care, no matter their circumstances. As people age, they deserve the right to make their own choices in regards to their independence, individual circumstances and care arrangements. Governments need to ensure people are given the social, economic and political support to make this a reality. We are committed to widespread reforms to aged care that deliver assess to high quality care for people, irrespective of whether they are in residential care and their own homes.

Older Australians deserve access to appropriate support payments, employment opportunities, community care and affordable, high quality health and aged care services.
